We are delighted to share that during the AWS Summit Johannesburg 2025, held at the Sandton Convention Centre, our Managing Director, Odwa Ndyaluvane, was featured in the prestigious Speaker Spotlight.

In his presentation, Odwa gave a comprehensive overview of our new application, Livestock Affairs. This innovative, user-friendly livestock management platform is designed to support both smallholders and commercial farmers in rural and urban areas. With its offline-first architecture, powered by AWS technologies, Livestock Affairs ensures seamless data synchronization, accurate livestock identification through facial recognition, predictive health alerts, and real-time inventory and financial forecasting.

By replacing error-prone manual record-keeping with digital tools, the platform helps farmers reduce livestock record errors by over 80%, accelerate compliance reporting, and improve animal welfare. Its intuitive design and culturally relevant user experience make an advanced technology approachable for farmers of all skill levels. Additionally, aggregated analytics enable government agencies and cooperatives to make data-driven decisions, strengthening productivity and sustainability across the agricultural sector.

The presentation sparked significant curiosity and engagement from the audience, with attendees asking insightful questions and booking follow-up sessions to gain a deeper understanding of how the platform works. The excitement around Livestock Affairs reflects the growing appetite for innovative agri-tech solutions that bridge traditional farming with modern digital tools.

On the day, Developmenthub launched three new products: Livestock Affairs, Accurate Edge, and Saleshak.io. These are not the only products from Developmenthub, but part of a broader range of innovative projects our developers are actively working on.
