As part of our rapid growth, we’re looking for a skilled Enterprise Account Manager to drive strategic engagements and enterprise sales across our product and capability lines.
Role Summary
The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key enterprise accounts across South Africa and abroad. This includes developing long-term relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth across software development services, AWS cloud capabilities, and proprietary SaaS offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise customers across key sectors (financial services, public sector, telecoms, etc.)
- Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles — from opportunity identification to contract signature
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to shape tailored cloud-native and software development solutions
- Promote AWS-based solutions and represent Developmenthub in co-selling or partner engagements
- Develop account plans, forecast revenue, and meet or exceed quota
- Leverage CRM and other tools to track pipeline, activity, and customer insights
- Represent the company at key industry events, summits, and client meetings
- Champion the voice of the customer internally, ensuring exceptional delivery and retention
Minimum Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a software development company or cloud solutions environment
- Strong understanding of bespoke software development life cycle and IT project delivery models
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner – CPC) required
- Experience selling or co-selling cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) into enterprise accounts
- Track record of meeting or exceeding multimillion-rand annual revenue targets
- Comfortable selling both services and SaaS products
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience working with government, parastatals, and/or regulated sectors is advantageous
Preferred
- Additional AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Business Professional)
- Familiarity with CRMs
- Familiarity with prospecting tools
- Prior experience in a fast-paced scale-up or partner-led sales environment
- Understanding of the AWS Partner Network (APN) co-sell process, funding or similar
