IBASA

The Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa (IBASA) is a professional body for Business Advisors. The Institute is responsible for the grading, accreditation and continuous professional development of business advisors, business coaches, mentors etc in South Africa and Southern Africa.

In 2019, IBASA engaged DEVELOPMENTHUB for software development related services which included the development of the IBASA systems that would aid with delivering on IBASA’s client deadline. At a high-level these are some of the key business challenges that required implementation of an integrated digital transformation plan:

• Grading & Competency Tool
• Website with a Member Management System
• Learner management System

The most important part was that we automate the evaluation framework which then became the backbone in the grading & competency tool. Furthermore, the admin is now able to withdraw all business advisor reports for client/companies that engage them in a click of a button. We also linked the competency tool to the learner management system (CMS) for continuous skills improvement.

Lastly, We developed a website that links to the Member Management System (MMS) which is fully tailored for IBASA. We automated the manual processing of data collection & capturing which created a backlog for office and administration.
